What is the difference between force and pressure?

Expert Answer
1/Force is vector quantity, while pressure is a scalar quantity.
2/ Pressure is force per unit area, while force is the external agency that changes the direction of motion, or speed of the object in motion.
3/SI unit of force is Newton, N and that of pressure is Pa, Pascal, N/m2.
