What is the difference between d.c motor and dynamo?

A dynamo, originally another name for an electrical generator, now means a generator that produces direct current. which converts the chemical energy in fuel to electrical energy
whereas a motor is a device that convert electrical energy(current) to mechanical energy by rotating the motor.
