Expert Answer
The main difference between conduction, convecdtion and radiation is in the way the heat is transferred from one place to another.
In conduction, the heat is transferred by the vibration of particles of medium on their own place.
In convection, the particles of medium actually movecarrying heat from the hot place tot he colder place.
In radiation, the heat is transferred without the need of a medium. It is transferred in the form of electromagnetic radiation.
Conduction is the fastest mode of heat transport and radiation is the slowest mode.
