Photosynthetic equation is derived from a series of chemical reactions which occurs at different stages of light dependent and light independent reactions. Hence, it important to study each stage (Various pathways involved) of the process in detail to find the derivation.
There is a constant exchange of ions, loss and gain of electrons through electron transport chain, formation and break down of energy-rich products to form the final product which is glucose.
