- This basically explains us the magnitude or the amount of force acting on the concerned surface per unit area.
- If the area of the pressure applied is more, then the pressure acting on that surface is said to be low.
- Similarly, when a force acts on a relatively smaller area, the pressure exerted on that surface is said to be high.
