What is the actual difference between hydrolysis and hydration of salts? Do only weak salts undergo hydrolysis? Does Ammonium acetate undergo both hydrolysis and hydration?  Also do all salts, no matter made from a combination of weak or strong acids and bases, ionize completely in water?
