WHAT IS SYNAPSE?IS IT A POINT OF CONNECTION BETWEEN 2 NEURONS OR IT IS A GAP BETWEEN A AXON ENDING AND A DENDRITE?I'M CONFUSED.

Synapse is a junction between two nerve cells, consisting of a minute gap across which impulses pass by diffusion of a neurotransmitter. This microscopic gap is between the axon of one neuron and the dendrite of another.
