What is one important difference between the unit of heat and the unit of Temperature other than their names

Heat is thermal energy contained in a substance. SI unit of heat energy is Joules. In cgs units system, calorie is used as unit of thermal energy.
 
Temperature is degree of hotness or coldness. Kelvin is used as SI unit in thermodynamics. Celsius is also used as unit of temperature.
