what is net- external unbalanced force?

When a number of forces act on a body, then the net force acting on it is the sum of all the forces. Now the forces acting may vary in magnitude as well as direction, if the resultant of all the forces which act on the body is zero then the net-external is balanced otherewise it is unbalanced forced. It is the net-external unbalanced force which can make a body move.
