What is Motion? What is relative velocity?

Expert Answer:

Motion is change of location or position of an object with respect to time. Change in motion is the result of an applied force. Motion is typically described in terms of velocity also seen as speed, acceleration, displacement, and time.
For the objects not moving with very high speds, relative velocity is the vector difference between the velocities of two objects, as evaluated in terms of a single coordinate system.
