What is meant by the apparent weing of the body ?

The apparent weight of the body by definition is the observed weight. It as actually the  normal or the reaction force on the weighing machine .It is an upward force ,transmitted through the ground that opposes the (usually downward) acceleration that a supported object would otherwise experience, preventing it from falling.

Plssss answer..... Assertion: Magnetic field lines never intersect each other. Reason: If they intersect, then at the point of intersection, the compass needle would point towards two directions, which is not possible.
