what is magnitude

magnitude in the case of vectors is the positive number quantity which is accociated with a vector.
It basically gives an idea about the strength of a vector quantity.
Eg if two vectors A and B point in same direction and magnitude of A and B are 2 and 5 respectively, then we know that vector A is smaller as compared to vector B.
If we try to plot a vector on a graph, then magnitude gives the length of a vector in that graph
