Expert Answer:

Law of definite propertions: A chemical compound, no matter from which source it is obtained ,always contains the same elements combined together in the same definite propertion by mass.

For example Water(of any source ) is composed of two elements hydrogen and oxygen in the ratio 1:8 by mass.
