Dear Student
The Law of Conservation of Mass applies to chemical changes during the reaction. This states that during a chemical change or reaction the total mass of all of the reactants in the chemical reaction is equal to the total mass of products in the chemical reaction.
The law of Conservation of Mass states that mass is neither created nor destroyed. This applies to Chemical Equations because Chemical Equation can not create nor destroy mass or energy. (Equations must be balanced).
We hope that clarifies your query.
