Principle: Separation of
Process: The ore is poured over a vibrating sloped table with grooves, and a jet of water is allowed to flow over it. The dense ore particles settle down in the grooves.
This is an important step of extraction of metals from their ore, in this method the obtained ore have fewer impurities and high concentration of metal.
Hence to obtain concentrated ore this method is used.
