What is flux?

Flux is amount of field lines that flow through a unit area per unit time.
If the field is constant over the area, the flux is simply product of field and area.
Flux=Field lines × Area
Magnetic flux emerges from north pole and enters at south poles inside the magnet, the direction of filed lines is from south pole to its north.
