what is coercivity and retentivity?

Coercitivity is the intensity of the magnetic field needed to reduce the magnetisation of a ferromagnetic material to zero after it has reached saturation...
Retentivity is the power of remaining magnetised after the force of magnetisation is stopped.
Hope this helps.
