Circular motion is the motion of a body in a circular path. For example the motion of a stone if you tie it to a string and move it around yourself.

If the particle’s speed of revolution is constant then it is an uniform circular motion.

Distance travelled by the particle in 1 revolution = 2?r If T is the time taken to complete one revolution, then the speed of the particle is, v = 2?r/T
