What is a solenoid? how can u increase the strength of a solenoid?

The term solenoid refers to a loop of wire, often wrapped around a metallic core, which produces a magnetic field when an electric current is passed through it.
The magnetic field strength of a solenoid can be increased by
increasing the electric current,
and increasing the number of turns per unit length.
