What happens when a copper rod is dippes in MgSO4 or FeSO4 solution ?

The copper metal would displaces the iron from FeSO4 solution as follows:

Cu + FeSO4 ? CuSO4 + Fe 

THe solutions turns blue as copper sulfate is blue in color.
