Expert Answer:

Sodium bicarbonate decomposes on heating to form sodium carbonate and CO2 and water.

2NaHCO3 --> Na2CO3 + CO2 + H2O

This will occur at a relatively low temperature. It requires a very high temperature to decompose sodium carbonate. to form Na2O and CO2.
