what do you understand by (a)endosmosis (b)exosmosis?

these r both kind of osmosis
endosmosis is the entry of solvent from outside to inside of cell through semipermeable plasma membrane when cell is placed in a hypotonic sol with less solute n more solvent. cell becomes turgid
exosmosis is the transfer of solvent from inside to outside of cell through plasmamembrane when cell is placed in a hypertonic sol with more solute n less solvent . cel;l becomes flaccid
