The judicious utilisation of natural resources in such a way that meets the needs of the present generation wothout compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs is called sustainable development. It means that the natural resources should be utilised in a way that it does not lead to their over exploitation and over utilisation. They should be used judiciousely so that the resources could be utilised even by the future generations for satisfying their needs.
