- For example, a rectangular box will have a length (in cm), breadth (in cm) and a height (in cm) to measure.
- It will also have some mass (in gm or kg) and the volume (in cm or m cube) that any matter can occupy inside the box.
- In order to avoid confusion in the system of measurement, specific units have been found to standardise the measurement.
- The SI unit, CGS, MKS are some system of units that are used to measure.
