what causes the body cells in cancer to divide rapidly and why cancer occures through radiations.

Cancer cells are devoid of normal controls on when to stop dividing. This is referred to as lack of "contact inhibition". In culture when normal cells touch they stop dividing while cancer cell do not and keep dividing and pile up on each other.
