functions of theeth- gripping cutting chewing tearing n crushing of food, teth r also helpful in speach
functions of tongue-perceives taste of food, helps in ingestion swallowing of food n brings food under teeth for mastication,it helps in speach
functions of saLIVA -moistens foodn provide liquid base for proper mastication n chewing of food,it has salivary amylase to digest carbohydrate,it has lysozymes to prevent growth of microbes ,it moistens buccopharyngeal cavity n its organs as tongue lips etc
