Position vector

Displacement vector

Position vector is used to specify the position of a certain body.

Displacement vector is used to find the change in the position vector of an object. 

The vector that represents the position of an object wrt the origin as the frame of reference is known as position vector.

The vector difference between two position vectors is known as displacement vector.
