What are ROGUE ELECTRIC FIELD LINES ?

The figure shows the electric field lines due to two positive point charges.
The density of the field lines in the region between the two charges is less as compared to the density of lines on the either sides of the charges.
Out of these, infinite filed lines emerging from the two charges, there are field lines that terminate at the point midway between them. These are called the rogue field lines.
