What are hot springs ? Give an example.

Hot spring, also called thermal spring is a spring that is produced by the emergence of geothermally heated groundwater from the Earth's crust.Water coming out from hot spring is hot as it is heated by shallow intrusions of magma (molten rock) in volcanic areas. Some thermal springs, however, are not related to volcanic activity.Examople, Manikaran in India is famous for its hot spring.
