What are fundamental tone and overtones?

Fundamental tone:The lowest natural frequency of a vibrating object is called the fundamental frequency.

Overtones:The term overtone is used to refer to any resonant frequency above the fundamental frequency -
 
An overtone may or may not be a harmonic (whole number multiples of their fundamental frequencies)
