what are different types of telescopes and what are their uses ?

Expert Answer
There is terrrestrial telescope having a diverging lens, and it makes a non inverted image at the eyepiece. It is used to see terrestrial objects.
then there is newtonion telescope which uses mirrors in eyepiece and gaussian telescope which only contains converging lens. Both these telescopes are used for astronomical purposes.
