In contact force, the force on a body arises due to contact with some other body.

Examples of contact and non-contact forces:
1. Contact Forces - Friction, Normal Reaction, Tension in string, Force due to Collision, etc.
2. Non Contact Forces - Gravitational Force, Force between the Like and unlike charges, etc.
