Answer : When two lines are crossed by another line (called the Transversal), then we according to the figure given below, we can say that 


The pairs of angles on one side of the transversal but inside the two lines are called Consecutive Interior Angles (Co-Interior Angles).

In the figure above , 3 and 5 are  Consecutive Interior Angles, and 

 4 and 6 are also Consecutive Interior Angles
