What are causes of landslides?
Asked by Topperlearning User | 10 Mar, 2016, 01:32: PM
Expert Answer
Landslides are caused due to earthquakes, floods and volcanoes. The roots of the trees and plants firmly hold on to the soil. Cutting down of forests loosens the soil. During heavy rainfall, since the soil is loosened, landslides are more prone to occur.
