What ar the role of Inhibitors? Does the term Inhibitors actually refer to "Enzyme Inhibitors"?

Inhibitors are those species which will stop some reaction to proceed or interfere with a process and stop it.
Yes , it is enzyme inhibitors in Chemistry in evryday life.Drugs which inhibit any of the activities of enzymes are called enzyme inhibitors.
There is also one class of enzyme inhibitors which is competitive inhibitors. These are those drugs which compete with the natural substrate for their attachment on the active sites of enzymes.
