Whan are the function of Gram Sabha ?

The functions of the Gram Sabha are:
- Approves the budget of the year after considering the taxes that can be levied by the Gram Panchayat.
- It elects the members of the Gram Panchayat as well as the Gram Pradhan.
- The Gramsabha also discusses problems of enrolment of all children in the schools, their attendance and development of schools in its jurisdiction.
- The Gramsabha also discusses the hospitals and veterinary institutions and their activities. They educate the people about the precautions to be taken to protect the health and hygiene of people and cattle.
