to an overhead tank in the shape of a cylinder.the overhead tank has radius 60cm and the height 80cm.find the height of water left in the cuboidal tank after the overhead tank has been completly filled with water from the cuboidal tank.

volume of overhead tank = π×0.6×0.6×0.8 = 0.9 m3
if base area of cuboidal tank is assumed as (4×3) m2 ,
then reduction in height of water in cuboidal tank due to over head tank filling = 0.9/12 = 0.075 m
height of water left in cuboidal tank = 2 - 0.075 = 1.925 m
