wat is the difference between resistance and resistivity

Resistance is the property of boby by virtue of which it offers resistance to the flow of current. It changes with change in length , area of cross-section , temperature etc. whereas resistivity or specific resistance is a constant quantity for a given material. It is the resistance offered by unit length of conductor having cross section.
