Let the  height of the  given cone =2h, radius =10 cm

So, according to the question, the cut is made at the mid point so the height of the smaller cone=h and radius= 10/2= 5 cm

(use similar triangles property  that the sides of similar triangles are in proportion,for the two right triangles that are formed when you consider the  vertical half part of the smaller cone  and the vertical half part of the bigger cone)
