Let A and B be the vectors. [bold letters represent vector quantity]

Given that, (A+B) is perpendicular to (A-B).

Now,

(A+B).(A-B) = 0 [since, they are perpendicular]

=> A.A – A.B + B.A – B.B = 0

=> A2 – B2 = 0

=> A = B

Thus, the vectors are of same magnitude.

option 1 is correct.
