1/ Distance time can represent uniform, non-uniform motion.

2/ Yes they are different. Consider a time interval of 10 sec, in which a particle moves along a semicircle of radius R. Then for the same time interval the distance is πR while the displacement is 2R.

3/ The x - axis represents time and a line perpendicular to it denotes many different distances at the same time. It can have only one position.
