Under what provision can a non-member of Parliament be made a Minister?

Normally, it is only the members of Parliament who are made Ministers. However, in case a non-member has to be made a Minister, he must be elected or nominated to the Parliament within six months from the date of his appointment. If he fails to do so, he will have to resign from the post of Minister.
