Two electric bulb (200W) and two electric fans (250W) are used in 6 hrs daily. Calculate electric energy is consumed by the electric appliance.calculate the electric bulb for 1 month.(1Init=9Rs)

Expert Answer
Electrical energy consumed in one day = [ electrical power used by 2 bulbs + electrical power used by 2 fans ] × 6 hours
 
Electrical energy consumed in one day = [ (2 × 200) + (2 × 250) ] × 6 = 5400 Watt-hour = 5.4 kWh

Electrical energy consumed in one month = 5.4 × 30 = 162 kWh
 
Bill for onemonth = 162 × 9 = Rs. 1458
