thus, on connecting opposite plates, both of them will discharge completely.
Energy stored in 1st capacitor, E1 = 1/2 (2) (9)2 = 81 micro joule
 
energy stored on 2nd capacitor, E2 = 1/2 (3) (6)2 = 54 micro joule
 
thus total energy released = 135 micro joule
