Two APs have the same common difference. The first term of one of these is 3, and that of the other is 8. What is the difference between their 10th terms and their 30th terms????

Let d be the common difference of the APs.
Let a1 = 3 be the first term of one AP and a1' = 8 be the first term of the other AP.
Difference between 10th terms = a10' - a10 = a1' + 9d - a1 - 9d = 8 - 3 = 5
Similarly, difference between 30th terms = 5
Let d be the common difference of the APs.
