Ans. True. There are three kinds of cones, each containing a different pigment. The three types of cones are sensitive to absorb red, blue and green light respectively.

2. Deafness is caused due to rupturing of pinna.

Ans. False. Deafness is caused due to rupturing of tympanum (eardrum).
