Expert Answer
Since PQR is an equilateral triangle all the altitudes will be of same lengths and each altitudes will divide the sides of triangle in 2 equal parts.
In 1 small triangle 1 side is "a" other is "2a" and 3rd (altitude) we need to find.
Let that altitude = x
a2 + x2 = (2a)2
x2 = 4a2 - a2
x2 = 3a2
x = 3 a
altitude = 3 a
