let BD=X
then,
CD=9-X
we know the result that,
the angle bisector of an angle divides the opp side in the ratio of the sides containing the angle.
so,
BA/AC=BD/DC
substituting the values we get,
12/15=x/(9-x)
solvin we get,
x=4
so BD=4,CD=5
