The angle inside a half circle is 90, 

Here the two triangles are right angle and onthe same hipotenus.

SO A,B lies on the perimeter of a circle for which BC is dia.

AC,BD are chords in the circle and intersects at p.

For chords inside a circle AP.PC = BP.PD
