Topper has shown one video where it was given that the vector a=20 and vector b=10 gives us the resultant vector c=10 but how??this does not fit the rule vector a + vector b = vector c.plz xplain me with diagram?

This is very simple as the two vectors are directed in opposite directions.
Resultant, c = sqrt (a2 + b2 + 2 a b cos?) = sqrt (400 + 100 + 2 x 20 x 10 cos 180)
c = sqrt (500 - 400) = 10
